Here is how the schedule for next week is shaping up:
Monday: OUS meeting at 3:00 pm in Portland (PSU Rec Center). Possible meet-up/rally at 1:30 in the plaza outside. Possible rally in Salem at 11:30 or 12:30. Talk it up so that plans can start coalescing.
Tuesday: Teach-in and Rally from 12-2 pm on campus. More details to follow when planning is completed.
Wednesday: Statutory Faculty meeting with UO Senate 3-5pm, with all community members are invited to attend. Two motions will be considered: one in support of President Lariviere and one calling on the Chancellor and the State Board to resign.
I would like to share my personal take. I feel like Charlie Brown with Lucy and the football - making some of the first steps to help develop a better K-20 math system, and having that all pulled out by this egregious undermining of our university.
